Description

The Bionix Lighted Articulating Ear Curette #2511 combines the two greatest innovations in ear curettage, visualization with light and magnification, and articulation for the ability to work behind an occlusion in the ear canal. The easy to maneuver tip articulates up to 90 degrees to assist in the removal of cerumen from the ear canal and foreign bodies from the ear and nose. The Lighted Articulating Ear Curette is the only lighted curette that articulates to assist in the removal of cerumen from the ear canal.

The Lighted Articulating Ear Curette works because of the unique hinged design. Once positioned beyond an obstructive cerumen plug or foreign body (usually through a space between the ear canal wall and occlusion), the tip can be articulated by grasping the handle of the Lighted Articulating Curette in your palm placing your index finger in the trigger and gently pull back. This will cause the tip of the curette to bend. The cerumen or foreign body can then be pulled straight from the ear canal without using a blind sweeping motion.

What's Included: 25 Articulating Ear Curette Tips, 1 Light Source, and 1 Magnification Lens.
Features
  • Visualization A brilliant white light is projected to the tip of the articulating curette illuminating the ear canal. The magnification
lens enhances the view of the ear canal to visualize cerumen.
  • Manipulation Allows the physician to work behind cerumen plug
or foreign body eliminating the need for the top down sweeping motion that can abrade the ear canal.
  • Convenience Eliminates the need to use a separate light source or magnification device in an attempt to enhance visualization.
  • Safety Illumination and magnification improves procedural accuracy, avoiding the risk of injury from blind curettage with stainless steel curettes.
  • Made in the U.S.A.
